Water Off’a Huck’s Back

I am Lamar Stanley, and I am the father of two wonderful children and the husband to the world’s best wife (and my best friend).  I love God, my family, Ole Miss football, BBQ, and Miller High Life on hot days…or cold ones.  This is my blog.  I’m writing mostly to force myself to sit, think, and be thankful on a regular basis.

Huck is my dog.  He’s the best (worst) dog I have ever seen or heard about, and he practices unconditional love for anyone he meets – whether you pull his tale (my son) or feed him fat from your steak (my wife).  He would follow me into fire, but he can’t be trusted near my sandwich.  I wish I could be half the person he thinks I am, but even though I demonstrate that I am not on a daily basis, it doesn’t seem to bother him.  Water off his back.
